Beth Bavis as Vice President of Business Banking of APGFCUEDGEWOOD, Md., June 17, 2025 – APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) has appointed Beth Bavis as its vice president of business banking. She will succeed Debi Williams, who is set to retire in August after more than five years in the role.

Bavis brings over 25 years of experience in commercial banking and financial services to APGFCU. Most recently, she served as vice president of member business banking at Point Breeze Credit Union, where she played a key role in streamlining loan application processes, enhancing member experiences, and promoting cross-departmental collaboration to improve efficiency. Prior to her time at Point Breeze, Bavis held significant leadership positions at PNC Bank and M&T Bank. Her tenure at M&T Bank earned her multiple awards, including the prestigious “Commercial Million Dollar Club Award” and the “Business Excellence Award.”

“We are grateful to Debi Williams for her leadership and dedication over the past five years,” stated Chief Lending Officer Scott Weaver. “Her commitment to our members and her passion for business banking have left a lasting impact on our organization. As we bid her a well-deserved retirement, we are excited to welcome Beth to the team. With her extensive experience and proven track record of innovation and growth, Beth is the ideal leader to carry our business banking vision forward.”
