Fraud Texts Security Alert
There is an active scam where identity thieves pretending to be from APGFCU are contacting members via a text alert on their phones. The alert instructs you to click a link, which takes you to a site that appears to be ours to enter your APGFCU login ID and password.

New Visa Card Activation Phone Number
To activate your APGFCU Visa Debit or Credit Card, please call 1-877-433-0023. Alternatively, you may activate your card within APGFCU Online Banking or the APGFCU Mobile Banking app.

We serve Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City. Once you're an APG Federal Credit Union member, you're always a member.
How You Qualify for Membership
- You live, work, worship, attend school, or volunteer in Harford County, Cecil County, Baltimore County or Baltimore City.
- You are an immediate family member or household member of anyone meeting the above criterion.
How Family Members Qualify
Members of the immediate family or household of a credit-union-eligible individual may join. That credit union-eligible individual does not need to join the credit union in order to extend membership eligibility to the immediate family or household member.

To apply online, you will need your driver’s license, social security number, address, birth date, and you’ll be asked to answers security questions. Apply now.
- What information do I need to open an account?
In order to make this process quick and easy, please collect the following information for each person whose name will appear on the agreement. Before you begin, here's what you will need:
- Residential street address and telephone number
- Social Security number
- Driver's license or government-issued photo ID
- Birth date
- How can I open an account online?
If you are already a member, you can open additional checking and savings accounts.
- How do I make an opening deposit for an account that I open online?
Instructions on making an initial deposit will be displayed during account opening. You can also make deposits by visiting the branch or through the mail.
- How long will it take to open an account when I apply online?
Once you have submitted an online membership application, please allow approximately 48 hours for completion of the process. You will be notified via email, phone, or post mail once we have finalized your application.
