Edgewood, Md., November 25, 2019 – APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU®) welcomed long-time Harford and Cecil County business banking experts, Deborah Williams and Tracy Reynolds, to the APGFCU business banking team to build and manage new and existing business accounts in Harford and Cecil counties.

Williams joined APGFCU as Vice President of Commercial Services in preparation for APGFCU’s launch of its revamped business accounts, which became available to the business community in July 2019. APGFCU continues to add value to its product offerings and is planning the launch of its business lending products in 2020. A long-standing member of the Cecil County business community, Tracy Reynolds joined the APGFCU business banking team earlier this year as the commercial deposit manager to serve this growing needs of this business community.

“Deb and Tracy bring years of business banking experience to the credit union,” stated Chief Lending Officer Scott Weaver. “While our focus in the past has been on the individual consumer, we realized there was a similar need in our business community and have worked diligently to find the right products and the right people to be able to provide those resources, while staying true to the credit union philosophy.”

Williams has a long history in business banking, having worked for local institutions, where she led commercial banking efforts in the Northeast and Harford County markets. Williams is the immediate past chair of the Harford County Chamber of Commerce and is an Emeritus Board Member for Harford Community College Foundation Board. She serves as a board member of the Harford County Public Library Foundation and the Rockfield Foundation.

An Athena Award recipient and a Paul Harris Fellow, Williams joins the credit union with several accolades, including being a three-time winner of The Daily Record’s Top 100 Women, winner of the 2004 Small Business Administration’s Financial Services’ Advocate of the Year Award, and named to the SBA Financial Services Champion Hall of Fame in 2012.

Reynolds holds an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Cecil College and is a 2012 graduate of the Cecil Leadership Institute. She joins APGFCU with a history in financial sales and service and is a member of several local associations, including the Cecil County Extension Advisory Council, where she serves as president, and the North East Chamber of Commerce, where she serves as treasurer. Reynolds is also a 2017 recipient of the North East Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year Award and is a Paul Harris Fellow.
