APGFCU’S Shred-It Day Helps Secure Local Families And Save Trees

APG Federal Credit Union (APGFCU) hosted a free Shred-It Day at its Aberdeen, Edgewood, Laurel Bush and North East branches on Saturday, June 16, 2012. Attracting nearly 500 members, the event shredded and recycled over 17,500 pounds of paper, the equivalent of saving 150 trees.

The annual event is designed to provide a trusted means for APGFCU members to dispose of sensitive information while recycling paper. This is the sixth year for the event
