What does it mean if I receive a hold on my account after I have made a deposit?

A hold on an account or check means the funds are not immediately available. Local checks may be on hold for 1 – 5 days, and 9 days for new members (membership less than 30 days old). For details, consult the Terms and Conditions of Your Accounts brochure.
