Charitable Donation Requests

Credit unions believe in the philosophy of "People Helping People." One of the many ways APG Federal Credit Union demonstrates this is through our support of many community organizations.

    Three of our priorities are:
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Cecil County
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County
  • Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna

We've provided both time and monetary contributions to these organizations.

Requests for Charitable Donations
Requests for charitable donations should be in writing on your organization's official letterhead and should include your group's federal tax identification number.

    The letter should always state:
  • Who is making the request
  • The amount requested
  • Why it is needed
  • When it is needed

Your request will be submitted to the Community Involvement Committee (comprised of board members and other APG Federal Credit Union volunteers) which makes decisions twice per year on the allocation of the credit union’s charitable funds.

Please submit request by either March 1 or September 1. When the decisions are made and officially approved, letters and checks will be mailed to the organization. You may follow up on the status of your request by emailing us at donations@apgfcu.com.
