Switching your accounts to APGFCU is now as easy as 1 -
2 - 3! We now have a simple online form to help you make a
smooth and easy transition to our services.
Step 1: Open
your new APGFCU accounts. Once your first account
is open, you have access to all of our benefits and other
accounts, including FREE Online Banking, convenient Bill Pay
service, and low-cost loans. Not a member? Become
a member today or click
here to learn more about our member benefits.
Step 2: Close down your old
accounts. Be sure to leave your old accounts active
long enough to allow outstanding checks and automatic withdrawals
to clear. Leave enough money in place to cover these transactions.
This process may take several weeks. Once you're sure that
the old accounts are inactive, you can ask your previous financial
institution to send you the balance from that account. Then
you can destroy your old checks, ATM/debit cards and deposit
slips.
Make
the Switch Now! Use our online switch kit to
enter all of your previous financial institution information,
any automatic payments that are made from that account, and
any direct deposits you have going into that account. Once
you fill out all of the information, hit the submit button
and you'll have all of the letters as .pdf files to print out,
with all of the information you entered, for you to mail to
all of the appropriate parties. Use the checklist below to
make sure you have all of the necessary information to fill
out our online form.
A
Great Reason to Switch Your Checking Account to APGFCU! |
APGFCU
members now have access to 32,000 surcharge-free
ATMs! |
| APGFCU has partnered with
Allpoint so that members can access the Allpoint
network with their APGFCU Visa Debit Cards or ATM
cards surcharge-free. APGFCU pays a network subscription
fee so members aren't surcharged at Allpoint's 32,000
ATMs nationwide. |
 |
| Note: Because
these ATMs are not owned by APGFCU, our foreign
ATM transaction fee still applies. |
