GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY HELD FOR APGFCU’S FOREST HILL BRANCH

(Aberdeen, April 22, 2008) – On April 11, 2008, executives from Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union [APGFCU] met with Harford County officials at 2010 Rock Spring Road, for a groundbreaking ceremony celebrating the construction of APGFCU’s ninth facility in Forest Hill.

In attendance were David Craig, Harford County Executive; Bill Seccurro, President, Harford County Chamber of Commerce; Susie Comer, President, Comer Construction; David Gilbert, APGFCU Chairman of the Board; Don Lewis, APGFCU President/CEO; APGFCU executives, among others.

APGFCU has been helping its members achieve financial success for 70 years and is among the Top 15 largest employers in Harford County.  The Forest Hill branch is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2008, and marks the credit union’s eighth branch in Harford County.  They also serve Cecil County with a branch in Elkton.
