(Aberdeen, October 19, 2009) — Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union [APGFCU] installed a new APGFCU ATM on the lower level of the Student Center at Harford Community College [HCC] in Bel Air. To help students who are usually on tight budgets, APGFCU is not charging a fee for its use.
David Gilbert, Chairman of the Board of Harford County-based APGFCU, and James LaCalle, President of Harford Community College, officially unveiled the new ATM on September 16, 2009.
APGFCU has a long history of contributing to local communities through HCC, including participation in the Harford Leadership Academy Program; presenting free entrepreneurial workshops with the Small Business Development Center at HCC; partnering with HCC’s summer youth programs to provide free financial education, and more.
Membership to APGFCU is FREE and OPEN to everyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in Harford or Cecil County.
