APGFCU’s Grand Opening A Great Day For Family Fun

(Aberdeen, November 25, 2008) — Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union [APGFCU] opened the doors of its new Forest Hill branch on November 7, 2008, and officially marked the occasion by hosting a free, open-house style Family Fun Day on Saturday, November 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The rain did not stop the hundreds of Forest Hill residents who came out to take advantage of the many free gifts including live Blue Spruce tree saplings representing APGFCU’s growing business, eco-friendly tote bags to reaffirm its commitment to the environment, light refreshments and special offers. Professional entertainers were there to entertain families with caricatures and balloon art.

The new branch is located at 2010 Rock Spring Road, Forest Hill, next to the Walgreens. It offers a full range of financial products and services, lobby tellers, Member Service Representatives, and is equipped with a drive-up ATM, drive-up lanes, safe deposit boxes, a coin counting machine, and more. The lobby is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
