APGFCU Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Forest Hill Branch   

(Aberdeen, November 7, 2008) — Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union [APGFCU] will open the doors of its new Forest Hill branch on November 7, 2008, and officially mark the occasion by hosting an invitation-only Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, November 14, and a Grand Opening Family Fun Day for the public on Saturday, November 15.

APGFCU will welcome several prominent guests from the local communities including members of the Harford County Council, who are scheduled to perform the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, November 14, 8:00 am – 9:30 am.

The Grand Opening Family Fun Day will take place on Saturday, November 15, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome to join the open-house style celebration, which will include free gifts, caricatures, balloons, refreshments, and special offers for new members.

Don Lewis, President/CEO at APGFCU, commented that "in Forest Hill, there is a significant and growing call for the personalized financial services and outreach that our credit union has been providing to communities for more than 70 years. We are pleased to add Forest Hill to our expanding branch network in Harford and Cecil County. The Grand Opening Day will be a great opportunity for area families to meet our dedicated employees and tour their new branch."

The new branch is located at 2010 Rock Spring Road, Forest Hill, next to the Walgreens. It offers a full range of financial products and services, lobby tellers, Member Service Representatives, and is equipped with a drive-up ATM, drive-up lanes, safe deposit boxes, a coin counting machine, and more. The lobby is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Reporters and photographers are invited to attend the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and the Grand Opening Family Fun Day celebration.
