APGFCU Appoints Amy Carlson to New Role of Personal Mortgage Concierge    

(Aberdeen, July 10, 2008) — Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union [APGFCU] is proud to announce the appointment of Amy Carlson to the new role of Personal Mortgage Concierge, reflective of the credit union’s commitment to offer a more personalized approach to lending. 

Mrs. Carlson stated, “I’m delighted with this new opportunity to serve the needs of the Harford and Cecil County communities. My new role incorporates my passion for ‘people helping people.’  I’ll personally guide members through every facet of the home financing experience -- from determining the perfect mortgage product, to recommending reputable moving services, child care, dentists, grocery stores, and more.”

Mrs. Carlson’s appointment is a result of her professional achievements, the respect she has earned from her peers and APGFCU members, and her significant contributions to APGFCU and the local communities over the years.

Previously, Mrs. Carlson was an Assistant Vice President at APGFCU, and held various other positions within the credit union during her 15-year tenure.  She is the current President of the Route 40 Business Association, and is an active member of various other local business associations and boards.
