APGFCU ANNOUNCES “WIN BIG” HDTV PRIZE WINNERS

(Aberdeen, February 11, 2008) —

Aberdeen Proving Ground Federal Credit Union [APGFCU] is excited to announce the local prize winners of its “WIN BIG” with VISA® sweepstakes.  The winners, Katherine (Katie) Monks, of Joppa, and John Weimer, of Aberdeen, were presented with $1800 gift certificates to the Best Buy store in Bel Air.

"I do all of my banking at APGFCU, even my credit card is with you guys.  I love it there, the service has always been great and everything is so convenient to both my home and work,” Mrs. Monks exclaimed while accepting the gift certificate.

Mrs. Monks was randomly selected in the first sweepstakes drawing on January 16th.  She says she will surprise her husband, who recently served a tour in Iraq, with a high-definition television.  Mr. Weimer was randomly selected in the second sweepstakes drawing on the same day.  The “WIN BIG” with VISA sweepstakes ran October 1 through December 31, 2007 and was open to APGFCU members.  Membership to APGFCU is open to everyone who lives, works, worships, volunteers, or attends school in Harford or Cecil County.

APGFCU celebrates its 70th anniversary in 2008.  The largest federal credit union in Harford County, and fourth-largest in Maryland, APGFCU has eight branches in Aberdeen, Abingdon, Amyclae, Bel Air, Edgewood, Elkton, Havre DeGrace, and Laurel Bush, with a ninth branch in Forest Hill scheduled to open in the summer of 2008.  Call 1-800-225-2555, or visit www.APGFCU.com, for more information.
